All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914 is an extra production and is not included in the season ticket package. Last year\u2019s production was so popular that bringing it back was an easy decision for the Fort Worth theater.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe response to All Is Calm was so powerful in 2025 that bringing it back felt both natural and necessary. People didn\u2019t just love All Is Calm; they wanted to share it with others. The words \u2018Annual Tradition\u2019 were brought up many times. Not sure we are ready to commit to that specifically, but a second year felt right. This musical\/tone poem\/piece leaves audiences feeling connected, grounded, and hopeful about what humanity can be,\u201d said Dana Schultes, Stage West\u2019s executive producer.<\/p>\n
Stage West announced its new season as it wraps up its 2025-2026 season with the regional premiere of The Cottage by Sandy Rustin, running Aug. 12-30.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019re closing the season with a bang! The Cottage is fast, flirtatious, and laugh-out-loud funny. It\u2019s full of big personalities, bigger secrets, and all the theatrical mischief you could hope for. We wanted to end the year with something joyful and outrageous. This one definitely delivers,\u201d Schultes said.<\/p>\n

The 2026-2027 season ticket includes six shows with the theme “Beneath the Surface.”<\/p>\n
\u201cWith Beneath the Surface, we\u2019ve built a season that rewards curiosity. These are plays with humor, heart, provocation, and style. They entertain beautifully on the surface while inviting audiences into deeper questions underneath. This season is quintessential Stage West: smart, surprising, funny, moving, and full of substance,\u201d Schultes said.<\/p>\n
The season includes a new show developed in Texas, I, Will: A Late Romance, a new play by Scott Carter.<\/p>\n
\u201cI, Will: A Late Romance is witty, theatrical, accessible, and a special chance to witness the beginning of a new play\u2019s life. It\u2019s history-adjacent, delightfully imaginative, and full of theatrical fun. There is something thrilling about inviting audiences into a rolling world premiere and saying: you were here at the start,\u201d Schultes said.<\/p>\n
STAGE WEST 2026-2027 SEASON<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n Eureka Day<\/strong> by Jonathan Spector Uh-Oh. A virus has hit the elite Eureka Day elementary school. An outbreak is near.
