The former Spain international is under contract through June 2028 with an option for the 2028-2029 season.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Roberto enjoyed an 18-year career with Spanish powerhouse FC Barcelona, before spending the last two seasons with Italian Serie A side Como 1907.<\/p>\n<p>Roberto tallied 19g\/43a in 373 appearances with Bar\u00e7a and helped them win 25 trophies, including seven LaLiga titles and two UEFA Champions League crowns.<\/p>\n<p>While at Como, Roberto produced 1g\/1a in 37 games and helped the Italian club earn their first-ever UEFA Champions League qualification.<\/p>\n<p>Internationally, Roberto has scored once in 11 games with Spain.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sergi brings a combination of leadership, technical quality, tactical intelligence, and championship experience that few players have,&#8221; said Will Kuntz, LA&#8217;s general manager.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He has been a key member of some of the greatest teams of his generation and understands not only what it takes to win, but what it means to be a winning team.
