Several accounts recorded more than 500 posts a day. One logged 955, every one a reshare.

Another, created three days before the analysis, with no followers and 13 posts of its own, was already generating 201 a day. Across dozens of accounts, 96% to 100% of activity was repeated sharing, with no original content.

On some, the rate of resharing the mayor’s own material ran between 98% and 100%. The analysts told the Post they are “100% sure” the IP addresses trace back to City Hall infrastructure.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani delivers his 100 Days Address, a speech dedicated to outline the progress made on his core campaign promises since taking office, in Queens, New York City, US, April 12, 2026. (credit: REUTERS/David ‘Dee’ Delgado/File Photo)

What has not been established matters too: The data does not show who controls the accounts, who paid for them, or whether anyone in the mayor’s office directed anything.

The WZO is asking US Special Envoy Yehuda Kaploun to refer the material to federal law enforcement. The National Jewish Advocacy Center is going to the Department of Investigation and the Conflicts of Interest Board and has requested the city’s server logs. City Hall did not respond to the Post’s requests for comment.

That silence is the story now.

Consider the record it sits on. On his first day in office, Mamdani revoked the executive orders adopting the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism and barring city agencies from boycotting Israel.
He spent two years pledging to arrest Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on New York soil, then released a video on July 27 conceding he could not, while accusing Israel of killing thousands.

New York City crime is at record lows while anti-Jewish hate crimes rise

And in his first seven months, the NYPD recorded 205 confirmed anti-Jewish hate crimes, up from 189 in the same stretch last year. They accounted for 56.9% of all confirmed hate crimes in a city where Jews are roughly 10% of the population. In July alone, 23 of 33 confirmed hate crimes targeted Jews, against 15 the previous July. Murders and shootings in general, meanwhile, hit record lows.

Read that again. New York is getting safer for everyone except Jews.

Here is our view: A mayor with nothing to hide would not be waiting for a subpoena. He would be the loudest voice in the five boroughs demanding an audit because an unexplained amplification machine humming around his office is an insult to the legitimacy of his own mandate.

He would open the server logs on Monday morning and invite the New York City Department of Investigation in, rather than wait to be dragged. Instead, nothing, from a politician who has learned that ambiguity costs him less than clarity would.

Something, or someone, is manufacturing the mayor’s social media reach; it must be investigated

And even if every finding collapses tomorrow, even if no keystroke is traced to a city employee, the problem is untouched. Something is manufacturing reach for this mayor’s most incendiary material, and the more inflammatory the message, the harder the machine works. That is not the algorithm. It is a business model, and Mamdani is its beneficiary. He has never once turned that megaphone around to tell his own coalition, in words that cannot be spun, that Jewish New Yorkers are not a legitimate target.

He could fix this in a week. Cooperate fully and publicly with investigators. Release the logs. Restore the IHRA definition he threw out on day one. Stand on the steps of City Hall and say that Jewish New Yorkers’ safety does not depend on their opinions about Israel.

We are not holding our breath, and neither should New York’s Jews. They have spent seven months being told that their fear is a public relations problem rather than a policing one, while the numbers went the wrong way and the mayor’s feed went viral.

Mamdani likes to call New York a city of international law. He might start with municipal law, which has long held that public resources are not political property, and officials do not get to deceive the people who pay their salaries.

Answer the question, Mr. Mayor. Or explain why you will not.

Dozens of accounts on X/Twitter, possibly even hundreds, are amplifying content from New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani,…

[5122
5229,12648,8921,405,403,5226,5225,5228,5227,345,27761,67,586,132,5230,68,2969,168868,3893,5301
post-989624","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-new-york","tag-america","tag-antisemitism","tag-diaspora","tag-new-york","tag-new-york-city","tag-newyork","tag-newyorkcity","tag-ny","tag-nyc","tag-social-media","tag-twitter","tag-united-states","tag-united-states-of-america","tag-unitedstates","tag-unitedstatesofamerica","tag-us","tag-usa","tag-world-zionist-organization","tag-x","tag-zohran-mamdani
["GET
