OSN has announced the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer, Joe Kawkabani, marking the end of a three-year tenure during which he steered the company through significant transformation and growth.<\/p>\n
Under Kawkabani\u2019s leadership, OSN undertook a series of strategic initiatives that reshaped the company\u2019s trajectory. Earlier this year, Warner Bros. Discovery made a strategic minority investment in OSN Streaming Ltd., signalling a strong commitment to the Middle East\u2019s rapidly evolving streaming sector. In a landmark move in 2024, OSN Group acquired a 55.45% stake in Anghami Inc., integrating the regional music streaming platform with OSN+ and creating a regional entertainment entity. Additionally, OSN strengthened its content portfolio through long-term alliances with global media giants, including a key exclusive partnership with HBO, established in 2022.<\/p>\n
