The actor has been in New York rehearsing with the cast of the NYC live stage version of his show \u201cMagic Mike.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n Tatum is directing the show and working out regularly to assume a cameo role during its opening weeks, just as he did in the West End production<\/a>. How long he will appear in the show will depend on his movie commitments.<\/p>\n \u201cMagic Mike\u201d was originally scheduled to open Oct. 22 at the former Copacabana nightclub at 268 West 47th Street. But it was postponed to January because of construction delays.<\/p>\n The designers are replicating the theater in London where the show is still a hit after seven years.<\/p>\n The audience will be able to dine, drink, and interact with the cast. After the curtain goes down the theater will morph into a nightclub with the actors joining the audience on the dance floor.<\/p>\n ****<\/p>\n Britani Bateman<\/a>, star of \u201cThe Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,\u201d was singing while she skied down a mountain.<\/p>\n \u201cA producer heard me and said, \u2018Hey, I want to do a one-woman show with you.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Bateman \u2014 mother of two daughters \u2014 thought she was too busy. \u201cThen a tarot card reader asked me why I kept saying no. I went home and said yes.\u201d<\/p>\n Now she is celebrating the release of her new single \u201cWhat About Me\u201d and preparing her performances at 54 Below<\/a> on Aug. 30, Aug. 31 and Sept. 2.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s really my chance to tell my story my way instead of through the lens of reality TV,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n A Brigham Young University theater graduate, Bateman has appeared in productions of \u201cMiss Saigon,\u201d \u201cThe R.M.,\u201d and \u201cForever Strong.\u201d<\/p>\n While she is a Mormon, she did perform for a predominantly gay audience in Fire Island\u2019s Cherry Grove<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m kind of a Mormon 3.0. I don\u2019t necessarily believe everything preached, but it is a great church that helps the community.\u201d<\/p>\n Her third season on \u201cRHSLC\u201d finished shooting in May and will air this fall.<\/p>\n ****<\/p>\n Sydney Sweeney<\/a> seems to have a type \u2014 older by 16 years, dark and attractive.<\/p>\n Hollywood is gossiping that her current paramour Scooter Braun looks like her past fianc\u00e9 \u2014 Jonathan Davino. Braun seems to be attached by the hip to Sweeney.<\/p>\n The two were in Sydney\u2019s home state of Washington after the devastating Spokane area wildfires, bringing food to firefighters between shifts on the front lines and helping prepare and distribute meals.<\/p>\n ****<\/p>\n Judy Glickman Lauder<\/a> started taking photos when cameras used film.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been doing this a long time,\u201d laughed the widow of Leonard Lauder, son of cosmetics queen Est\u00e9e Lauder.<\/p>\n The mother of four, and grandmother of 16, started collecting photographs before they became expensive pieces of art.<\/p>\n Her show of 100 photos by 50 photographers \u2014 including herself, Diane Arbus, Richard Avedon, Imogen Cunningham, Susan Meiselas, Gordon Parks and James Van Der Zee \u2014 is at the Southampton Arts Center<\/a> through Sept. 27.<\/p>\n Her father was friends with Ansel Adams and Edward Weston. \u201cWeston showed me how to take photographs,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n The show is \u201cserious, funny and sexy,\u201d a reflection of herself. \u201cI love celebrity and rock \u2018n\u2019 roll,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n ****<\/p>\n Leonardo DiCaprio tried unsuccessfully to go unrecognized in St. Tropez<\/a> by wearing sunglasses and pulling his black baseball cap over his eyes.<\/p>\n The star partied with his model girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti and a posse of ten pals at hot spots including Casa Jondal. The clubs\u2019 bouncers couldn\u2019t block people from taking photos.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, controversial rapper Kanye West and his wife Bianca Censori<\/a> were told they would not be welcome at St. Tropez\u2019s most famous beach spot Club 55 because of Censori\u2019s penchant for exposing herself in public. Club 55 is a favorite spot of Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos, Elton John, Kate Moss, Jennifer Lopez, and Beyonc\u00e9 and Jay-Z.<\/p>\n Instead, the scandalous duo made the scene at DC10, where their racy antics were thought to be more entertaining than offensive. Kanye pulled out his iPhone and took pictures of his \u201cpinup\u201d while she gave him what looked like a lap dance.<\/p>\n ****<\/p>\n Real estate brokers in the Hamptons are all about exposure. For Douglas Elliman\u2019s Patrick McLaughlin that means a new effort on social media called \u201cHamptons Chatter<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n The short format shows shot at Flying Point Media in Southampton have guests like W\u00f6lffer Estate Vineyard\u2019s Roman Roth, Southampton Playhouse artistic director Eric Kohn and funny movie critic Bill McCuddy.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a little bit of everything, fast paced and hopefully fun,\u201d says McLaughlin, a former TV producer at Fox News and \u201cGood Day New York.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI guess I was ready for my close up, we\u2019ll see if everyone else is,\u201d he said with a laugh.<\/p>\n The series launches this week and can be found on McLaughlin\u2019s Instagram feed.
