{"id":99171,"date":"2025-07-28T10:57:21","date_gmt":"2025-07-28T10:57:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/99171\/"},"modified":"2025-07-28T10:57:21","modified_gmt":"2025-07-28T10:57:21","slug":"highdive-opens-its-doors-in-nyc-to-grow-kfc-account","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/99171\/","title":{"rendered":"Highdive Opens Its Doors in NYC to Grow KFC Account"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chicago-based creative agency Highdive is opening a New York office in SoHo to support its work for KFC.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a big moment for us,\u201d Megan Lally, co-founder and CEO of Highdive, told ADWEEK. \u201cWe\u2019ve been talking about it for a while: \u2018one day we\u2019ll be in New York.\u2019 That day is here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The new location at 56 Greene Street will open in August. Highdive has brought on executive creative directors Steven Fogel and Doug Fallon from Ogilvy New York to lead work on KFC from the new office.<\/p>\n<p>Lally said the New York office will initially focus just on KFC, but may expand to other accounts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDoug and Steve are going to be instrumental in helping bring that to life,\u201d Lally said. \u201cWe\u2019re starting small, but with big talent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Highdive won the KFC account in the fall of 2024, and earlier this month launched a multi-year brand campaign aimed at luring customers back to the chain amid heightened competition in the fried chicken category. KFC same-store sales <a href=\"https:\/\/s2.q4cdn.com\/890585342\/files\/doc_financials\/2025\/q1\/Yum-Brands-1Q25-Earnings-Release.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rose 2% in Q2<\/a> after consumer spending <a href=\"https:\/\/www.circana.com\/post\/circana-announces-top-50-u-s-restaurants-for-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">declined 4% year-over-year in 2024<\/a>, according to Circana. Meanwhile, rival chains like Wingstop grew consumer spend 41% year-over-year.<\/p>\n<p>The new campaign work and relationship with Highdive seeks to reset the brand\u2019s voice while tapping into its cultural legacy.<\/p>\n<p>Highdive is hiring for several creative roles to support the account, including creative directors, with flexibility on location. \u201cNew York allows us to look beyond Chicago,\u201d Lally said. \u201cIt\u2019s not about staffing an office\u2014it\u2019s about finding the right fit for our clients.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lally said the Soho space is modeled on Highdive\u2019s early Chicago days\u2014just big enough to meet current needs. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe never go bigger than what we need,\u201d she said. \u201cWe outgrow it and then move on.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Highdive has grown double-digits every year since it launched in 2016 and now employs more than 130 people, Lally said.
