Robert Mecea for New York Post<\/p>\n<p>His request also came with increasing media access to the trial, arguing that the court should show the trial on a live \u201coverflow\u201d feed within the courthouse so all people \u2014 journalists and members of the public \u2014 can follow the action live. <\/p>\n<p>Justice Gregory Carro has not ruled on whether a courthouse overflow room will be used in the highly-anticipated trial.<\/p>\n<p>Jury selection for Mangione\u2019s state murder trial is set to start Sept. 8. He also faces a federal case.<\/p>\n<p>Brian Thompson, CEO of UnitedHealthcare, was shot dead on a Midtown sidewalk in December 2024.
