The Backstreet Boys <\/strong>will ring in 2027 right where they spent last New Year\u2019s Eve: onstage at the Sphere<\/strong>. The pop legends have added a three-night holiday run spanning Dec. 31 through Jan. 2.<\/p>\n

The added shows will bring the Backstreets\u2019 Sphere tally to 60 \u2014 including one during this November\u2019s F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. That\u2019s only 12 concerts behind the Eagles. <\/strong>The former boy band\u2019s \u201cInto The Millennium\u201d <\/strong>tour, which marked the first time a pop act headlined the Sphere, opened there in July 2025.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the NYE dates go on sale at Ticketmaster.com at 10 a.m. PT on Aug. 21, with a fan club presale beginning Aug. 18 and an artist presale beginning Aug. 19. Fans can sign up for the presale until Aug. 17 at this link.<\/a><\/p>\n

Vibee \u2014 the company handling bundled hotel and concert experiences for the residency \u2014 is offering travel packages that pair guaranteed seats inside Sphere with accommodations at the Venetian.<\/strong> Sales for all packages open at 10 a.m. PT Aug. 12.<\/p>\n

Marx and Recreation<\/p>\n

Richard Marx <\/strong>will headline the Pearl <\/strong>at the Palms <\/strong>on Oct. 30. The oft-maligned pop singer is the only male artist to have his first seven singles land in Billboard\u2019s Top 5, and one of just two musicians \u2014 alongside Michael Jackson \u2014 to write No. 1 hits in four different decades.<\/p>\n

Tickets start at $49, with presales underway before Friday\u2019s general on sale at 10 a.m. PT Friday (Aug. 14) at\u00a0AXS.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Koe Opens the Chutes at Planet Hollywood<\/p>\n

Country singer Koe Wetzel<\/strong> will perform at PH Live <\/strong>at Planet Hollywood <\/strong>on Dec. 11, adding a new entertainment option during the National Finals Rodeo.<\/strong> The stop is part of his \u201cNight Champion\u201d <\/strong>world tour. \u00a0The Texas native recently played to over 50,000 fans at the Houston Rodeo. Presales run throughout the week, with general tickets available 10 a.m. PT Friday, Aug. 14 via Ticketmaster.<\/p>\n

Guitar Store May Boast Secret Stage<\/p>\n

We skipped the news last week about the imminent opening of a Gibson Garage<\/strong> in Las Vegas because it was announced only as a guitar shop. However, Gibson\u2019s announcement stated that the store would occupy 9,000 square feet in the Miracle Mile Shops<\/strong> at Planet Hollywood<\/strong>, whereas the company\u2019s building permit filing was approved for 22,000 square feet.<\/p>\n

While nothing has been corporately confirmed, this suggests that a 13,000 square-foot performance just might be in the offing. If so, similar to the stage in back of McCabe\u2019s Guitar Shop<\/strong> in Santa Monica, it could offer intimate performances from guitarists with major bands in town for tour stops \u2014 especially guitarists with Gibson endorsement deals. <\/p>\n
