A new MiYa Chinese restaurant will open in Frisco\u2019s The Mix<\/a> development next year, according to documents filed with TDLR.<\/p>\n

What to know<\/strong><\/p>\n

First opened in Dallas in 2024, MiYa Chinese blends traditional Chinese recipes with a modern, full-service dining experience. Founded by restaurateur David Romano, MiYa Chinese features an interactive open kitchen, modern design and dishes rooted in Chinese heritage.<\/p>\n

The menu features dishes like handmade spring and egg rolls, a variety of soups, rice and noodle dishes, crispy duck breast, handmade soup dumplings and regular dumplings, Sichuan-inspired specialties and multiple dessert options.<\/p>\n

According to a TDLR filing<\/a>, the interior of a building will be renovated to create the region\u2019s second MiYa Chinese restaurant. The renovation will cost $900,000, the filing states.<\/p>\n

Construction to convert the 4,000 square foot interior is expected to start Oct. 1 and finish by April 1, 2027, according to the filing. The restaurant will also feature a 2,800 square foot rooftop patio, the filing states.<\/p>\n

Whole Foods remains the only publicly announced anchor tenant at The Mix.
