The game will take place Wednesday, Oct. 21 (7 p.m.) at Crypto.com Arena.<\/p>\n<p>This counts as an encore to last season\u2019s Warriors-Lakers opener, also on Oct. 21 in Los Angeles. That game pitted Curry against LeBron James, of course, and the Warriors won 119-109 behind 31 points from forward Jimmy Butler and 23 from Curry.<\/p>\n<p>James has since left the Lakers for the Philadelphia 76ers as a free agent. Butler will miss at least the first half of the upcoming season as he recovers from a torn ACL.<\/p>\n<p>The Warriors also will face Denver and three-time MVP Nikola Joki\u0107\u00a0on Friday, Dec. 25 at Chase Center (at 7:30 p.m.). That will mark Golden State\u2019s 14th consecutive Christmas Day appearance.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Last season, the Warriors beat Dallas 126-116 at home on Christmas Day. Curry scored 23 points to lead seven Golden State players in double figures.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s opener will mark the fifth time in the past seven seasons the Warriors begin their campaign on the road.
