Come run with us under a darkened sun next Wednesday from\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/themanc.com\/tag\/the-wharf\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">The Wharf<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0at 18:30, with peak moon coverage expected at around 19:10.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Better still, they\u2019re also teaming up with their trail running spin-off club for an even more scenic twist on the evening excursion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you prefer to experience your solar phenomena under the wide open skies\u201d, they go on to write, \u201cour friends over at <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/traildivision\/?fbclid=IwY2xjawTi1PdwZG9mBWV4dG4DYWVtAjEwAGJyaWQRMU5hSEhYcDRYQUFHUkhsSWpzcnRjBmFwcF9pZBAyMjIwMzkxNzg4MjAwODkyAAEeS5MWceot-3YMNV2fhonzi07sh75B1QFe8xebweHE0ruSNgf9jEMpJdi-qe8_aem_IZniDCNv6rPYslvqVmChaA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Trail Division<\/a><\/strong> will be holding a hike\/run off road, meet at Piccadilly Station at 18:00 to get shady in the great outdoors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, they have issued an important disclaimer, going on to remind runners that \u201cwhile beautiful and majestic, the sun should NEVER be directly looked at in the face unprotected\u201d, signing off by adding, \u201cRespect the sun, respect your peepers, stay ocularly safe out there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019ve never come across <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/manchesterroadrunners\/?locale=en_GB\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">MRR<\/a><\/strong> before, they\u2019re probably the biggest run club in the entire Greater Manchester region and their social-first jogs, intervals, track sessions and more revolve around meeting back up with your mates for a wholesome pint and a chat.<\/p>\n<p>For many, it\u2019s the biggest and the best in the city.<\/p>\n<p>As for the eclipse run, it\u2019s set to be a very magical variation on their usual Wednesday evening meets.<\/p>\n<p>Quite rightly, they also point out in the post that you can actually buy certain <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.livescience.com\/products\/optics\/where-to-buy-last-minute-solar-eclipse-glasses-and-viewing-gear-before-august-12\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">glasses to view eclipses<\/a><\/strong> on these rare occasions, with search traffic often ramping up in and around these events.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Trail Division branch is yet to confirm the route for their run\/hike, but it will most likely remain in the nearby North West vicinity; keep your eyes peeled on their social media pages (linked above) for more information and other upcoming trail events.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of trail runs, there\u2019s a pretty beautiful albeit challenging one coming up next month\u2026<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Stunning vistas, walkers welcome, and multiple distances available.\ud83c\udfc3\u200d\u2642\ufe0f\ud83e\udd7e<\/p>\n<p>And the best part?
