Pebble Beach Company changes Tour d\u2019Elegance route due to Timber Fire<\/p>\n

The Pebble Beach Company announced that it will change the route for the annual Pebble Beach Tour d\u2019Elegance due to the ongoing Timber Fire in Big Sur.<\/p>\n

The tour has been an annual tradition since 1998 and is scheduled for Thursday. Organizers said Tuesday that they have modified the traditional Tour d\u2019Elegance route.<\/p>\n

The alternate route will remain in the Pebble Beach and Monterey area, but organizers have not released additional details about the new course.<\/p>\n

The Tour d\u2019Elegance ordinarily starts in Pebble Beach, travels along 17-Mile Drive and past The Lodge before heading down the Big Sur coastline and returning to Pebble Beach.<\/p>\n
