Kellan Lutz said this week that he left\u00a0California\u00a0three years ago for Tennessee after the pandemic.<\/p>\n

\u201cI love California, I really do,\u201d he explained on \u201cInside of You<\/a>\u201d with Michael Rosenbaum. \u201cThe whole Tennessee move happened when we had our second kid<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cTwilight\u201d actor said they moved from Orange County \u2013 and his wife, Brittany Lutz, hopes to eventually move back there or at least to be \u201cbi-ish coastal.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lutz\u2019s wife was born and raised in Orange County. \u201cHer family is awesome. But post-COVID, a lot of people flew, like\u00a0fled California<\/a>. A lot of people lost jobs and wanted to move somewhere a little bit more peace given.\u201d<\/p>\n

His wife\u2019s family chose to leave California, and he said they followed them to Tennessee, mainly because otherwise she wouldn\u2019t have had a\u00a0support system\u00a0when he goes on location for work, and she\u2019s left at home with the children.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd one of the kids got sick. She felt really out of control as far as not being able to bring both kids there or just kind of helpless. So, she\u2019s like, \u2018Can we move?\u2019 I\u2019m like, \u2018Yeah, of course,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

He added that other men with kids in his life told him that new moms usually wanted to move to where their mom lives \u201cjust to help\u00a0with the kids.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThen when they\u00a0decided to move, I was like, \u201cOK, well, we\u2019re going to do it. We\u2019re going to give it a couple years and we have, and it\u2019s great. There\u2019s a lot of great things about Tennessee, especially Franklin where we live.\u201d<\/p>\n

The family moved to Tennessee three years ago, but he acknowledged he doesn\u2019t know how long they\u2019ll stay.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe got some land, got\u00a0great Bible studies\u00a0that we\u2019re a part of, great churches, great community,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s a lot of actors. I\u2019ve gone to probably more movie premieres in Franklin, Tennessee, than I have in LA, you know, the last couple years since I lived there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Admittedly though, there are adjustments.<\/p>\n

\u201cLike we aren\u2019t seasons people,\u201d he said. \u201cThere\u2019s tornadoes. My wife goes on red alert, especially when you have kids.
