However, the creative team regrouped to pave a new path for the beloved character.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/ted-lasso-season-5-return-response-eddy-cue-apple-tv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Screen Rant<\/a>, Cue said that Season 4 of the comedy series is \u201cgood enough\u201d to warrant a fifth season.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI hope so,\u201d Cue told the publication about renewing the show for Season 5. \u201cIt\u2019s certainly good enough for that. So I think there\u2019s plenty of stories to go on. We\u2019ll show up. No worries.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2025, <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/07\/ted-lasso-season-4-cast-production-photo-1236463473\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Deadline reported<\/a> that the Ted Lasso core cast, which includes Sudeikis, Juno Temple, Brendan Hunt, Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift, was \u201cbelieved to have a three-year\u201d deal, meaning that they could potentially make a run for three more seasons.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ted Lasso Season 4 is rolling out weekly, starting August 5. Every Wednesday, a new episode will drop on Apple TV until the finale set for October 7.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new season sees Ted return to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second-division women\u2019s football team. Sudeikis stars and executive-produces alongside Hunt, Joe Kelly, Jane Becker, Jamie Lee, and Bill Wrubel. Goldstein serves as writer and executive producer alongside Leann Bowen.
