The celebration will honor <strong>Ferragosto<\/strong>, one of Italy\u2019s most beloved summer holidays.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Guests can enjoy live music, Italian food and drinks, family activities, artisan demonstrations, and more. The celebration is being hosted by <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/helmsdesigndistrict\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/helmsdesigndistrict\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_1\" data-category=\"click_non_sales\">Helms<\/a><\/strong> with friends at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/pasta_sisters\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"shortcode-outbound-link\" data-has-ga=\"true\" data-ga-type=\"click\" data-label=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/pasta_sisters\/\" data-action=\"text_cta_2\" data-category=\"click_non_sales\"><strong>Pasta Sisters<\/strong>.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>What to expect at Ferragosto at Helms<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There will be plenty to see and do throughout the afternoon. Live music and a DJ will keep things lively. Italian food and drink vendors will also line Helms Avenue.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you want to learn how to make pasta, <strong>Pasta Sisters<\/strong> will host <strong>tortellino-rolling lessons.<\/strong> Guests can learn how to make the<strong> classic Italian stuffed pasta.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Orto Farms<\/strong> will showcase heirloom Italian produce. <strong>Sogno Toscano<\/strong> will offer tastings of cheese, salumi, and olive oil. You can also grab a drink at the <strong>Father\u2019s Office<\/strong> beer garden. Specialty cocktails will be available as well.<\/p>\n<p>Family-friendly fun<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The celebration will have plenty for kids and families. <strong>Fondazione Italia<\/strong> will host crafts, story time, and dance-alongs. These activities are designed to introduce guests to Italian culture in a fun way.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There will also be an<strong> immersive multimedia installation<\/strong> from <strong>Studio Dream Factory<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t forget the gelato<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No Italian summer celebration would be complete without coffee and gelato!<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Caff\u00e8 Luxxe<\/strong> will bring its \u201cespressSUV\u201d pop-up espresso bar. Guests can stop by for an Italian-style caffeine fix. <strong>Dolcenero<\/strong> will also be serving gelato.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There\u2019s an extra treat for new L.A. Material subscribers.
