\n\t\u201cHeated Rivalry<\/a>\u201d actor Dylan Walsh<\/a> has found himself on thin ice<\/a> after revealing details about upcoming episodes in a video clip that has gone viral.<\/p>\n

\n\tWalsh, who plays David Hollander on the hit hockey romance, recently paused his account on the celebrity video app Cameo after he got \u201cin trouble\u201d \u2013 in his words \u2013 for over-sharing in a clip about the upcoming second season of the series, which just began filming.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cGetting ready to go back up to Canada and shoot some more episodes\u2026 so, I think we\u2019re doing 12 this time,\u201d Walsh says in a clip, posted on X<\/a>, taken from a video recorded for a fan on Cameo.<\/p>\n

\n\tAs creator Jacob Tierney has said that he doesn\u2019t want to make more than six episodes per season, Walsh\u2019s comment possibly implies that the production is filming Season 2 and Season 3 together, or that Season 2 would be split in half, according to some fans.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI don\u2019t need to do 10 [episodes in a season],\u201d Tierney told the Los Angeles Times<\/a> in February. \u201cI would always rather tighten the belt than get loosey-goosey. I would rather be like, \u2018Let\u2019s see how much story we can pack into these episodes.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAccording to Entertainment Week<\/a>, a note on Walsh\u2019s Cameo account <\/a>stated that it\u2019s unavailable for personalized videos until August 2027, and the actor posted a message under his profile on the app that said, \u201cStepping away because a video went viral that got me in trouble.\u201d Both notes have since been removed. <\/p>\n

\n\tAs EW notes, Walsh\u2019s slipup could prove ironic as Rachel Reid\u2019s novel \u201cThe Long Game,\u201d from which the second season is adapted, includes a plot point around a video going viral on a Cameo-like app.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe show follows two rival professional ice hockey players, Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie), who are in a secret relationship. Walsh plays Shane\u2019s dad, who learns of their love affair when he walks in on them kissing in the Season 1 finale.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason 2 is expected to premiere in the spring of 2027.<\/p>\n
