The Lutheran Women\u2019s Fall Rally for the Jacksonville and Quincy zones will be Sept. 8 in Quincy, according to organizers.<\/p>\n
The theme, based on Psalms 145:3-4, is \u201cGreat is the Lord. Tell of his mighty acts to all generations.\u201d<\/p>\n
The rally will be from 1 to 4\u00a0p.m. at Lutheran Church of St. John at 3340 State St. in Quincy. Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a luncheon at noon. Cost for the luncheon is $15, though the rally itself is free.<\/p>\n
The Rev. Steve\u00a0Hayden will lead devotions and the Rev. Steven\u00a0Summerer Jr. will lead the Bible study.<\/p>\n
The Rev. Christopher Hull of Western Illinois University\u2019s\u00a0Immanuel Lutheran Student Center in Macomb will be the featured speaker.<\/p>\n
Zone presidents Jane\u00a0Henderson of Jacksonville and Lori Bronson of Quincy will lead the business meetings and members of the Jacksonville zone will present a skit.<\/p>\n
Registration is required by Sept. 1 by contacting Lutheran Church of St. John at 217-222-8579. The rally is open to the public.<\/p>\n
