The Nickelodeon star died after she was placed on life support at a Los Angeles-based hospital last Friday, TMZ reported.<\/a><\/p>\n According to the outlet, her family ultimately decided to take her off it.<\/p>\n Christy Knowings (seen here) has died. Everett Collection \/ Everett Collection<\/p>\n Knowings was a regular on \u201cAll That\u201d for three seasons from 1997 to 2000 alongside Amanda Bynes, Nick Cannon, Kenan Thompson and more.<\/p>\n She played various roles on the comedy series, including Jessica and Penny Lane. However, Knowings\u2019 favorite role was as Gloria Bankhead in Season 6.<\/p>\n \u201cShe was an over-the-top Martha Stewart,\u201d Knowings said about the character in a 2019 interview with Bustle<\/a>. \u201cI had never played any character like her!\u201d<\/p>\n The family of the actress (seen above on \u201cAll That\u201d) decided to remove her from life support. It\u2019s what I\u2019d do constantly.\u201d.<\/p>\n Knowings also praised the diversity among the cast, explaining, \u201cI\u2019m from the Bronx and Native American Afro-Latina, so I was able to bring so much to the table.\u201d<\/p>\n Knowings\u2019 most iconic line on the series was her and Bynes\u2019 catchphrase, \u201cWhatever.\u201d<\/p>\n Her last TV role was as herself on \u201cSesame Street\u201d alongside her twin brother, Chris, who remains a regular on the show.<\/p>\n The late actress (seen here with Kel Mitchell) starred on the series from 1997 to 2000.
