Congress Ave., set to begin August 19, according to a recent\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tdlr.texas.gov\/TABS\/Search\/Project\/TABS2026026827\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">Texas Department of Licensing and Regulating filing<\/a>. However, it&#8217;s unclear when or if Lucky Robot will close at all\u00a0 as the restaurant has not announced a closing date or relocation plans in Austin.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>MySA reached out to Lucky Robot and Beyond Yoga for comment, but did not hear back prior to publication.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/austin.eater.com\/2012\/10\/15\/6535117\/zen-reprograms-into-full-service-lucky-robot-on-south-congress\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">Lucky Robot opened on South Congress in 2012<\/a> after it replaced a former fast-casual Zen Japanese spot and was revamped into a full-service concept by owner Adam Weisberg and chef Jay Huang.\u00a0The restaurant has since become a top ramen and sushi spot in Austin, and in 2019, was recognized as Texas&#8217; first sustainable sushi restaurant by the James Beard Foundation\u2019s Smart Catch program.<\/p>\n<p>Lucky Robot says it selects sustainable seafood and partners with local farms and ranches that share the restaurant&#8217;s values of environmental stewardship, regenerative practices, and quality ingredients, per its\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/luckyrobotatx.com\/about\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">website<\/a>. Founded in Los Angeles in 2005, Beyond Yoga is a premium athleisure and activewear brand that offers a range of men, women and toddler activewear.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Beyond Yoga sells clothing like leggings, tops, sports bras, dresses, outerwear and more. Once open, Beyond Yoga&#8217;s planned South Congress store will be its first location in Austin. The scope of work for the store includes the &#8220;interior and exterior renovation, signage, storefront\/door replacements, demolition, new\/relocated HVAC, plumbing and electricity,&#8221; plus new partition walls and structural changes of a 2,000-square foot space.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Construction on the $759,940 renovation is expected to be completed by May 13, 2027.
