\n\tArchitect Albert Joseph Bodker completed his work on an Italian Renaissance-style residential building in Manhattan\u2019s Upper West Side neighborhood in 1909. Dubbed The Turin, the 12-story pre-war cooperative apartment house went on to house some prominent names in arts and entertainment: late\u00a0Dune\u00a0star William Hurt and former director of the Museum of Modern Art, Rene d\u2019Harnoncourt.<\/p>\n

\n\tPenthouse 121<\/a>, the building\u2019s renovated three-bedroom crown jewel, provides ample room beyond its attended lobby. Ten-foot ceilings, custom built-ins, and oversized windows define the aerie, while open living and dining rooms extend across 65 feet of direct Central Park frontage, creating an expansive setting for both everyday living and entertaining.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe residence came to market in March 2025 with an asking price of $9.99 million, records show, and sold for about $300,000 less that September. It was\u00a0re-listed at $10.25 million<\/a>\u00a0in July with Steven A. Cohen and Stefanie Ruch of Corcoran. More than its views of the Jacqueline Onassis Reservoir, the park, and the midtown skyline, the retreat\u2019s contemporary interiors harmonize form and function.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Two more en suite bedrooms off the foyer have Big Apple views, while a private entrance hall leads into the primary suite, which is decked out with a 22-foot-long windowed dressing room and a marble-clad bath outfitted with a heated floor and Lefroy Brooks hardware. A laundry room and dedicated storage space within the home are additional perks, along with access to the building\u2019s gym and bike room and a roof deck with a full outdoor kitchen.\u00a0<\/p>\n
