JACKSONVILLE, Fla. <\/strong> \u2013 A firefighter with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department was transported to a hospital Monday morning after being injured while responding to a house fire in the Mixon Town area, officials said.<\/p>\n

The fire broke out around 11 a.m. inside a home on Broward Street.<\/p>\n

JFRD told News4JAX the firefighter was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening burns.<\/p>\n

No other injuries were reported.<\/p>\n

The cause of the fire is under investigation.<\/p>\n
