UK Weather: Why is hay fever so bad at the moment?
As much of the country enjoys the warmer weather, some of us may start to feel a bit of a runny nose, as those classic hay fever symptoms set in.
The culprit is tree pollen, mostly from birch and ash trees, which have seen a particularly high count as April 7 was recorded as the hottest day of the year so far at 24C.
