Rare sea turtle found in Rhosneigr, Wales flown 5,000 miles to Texas for treatment and release

Kemp’s ridley sea turtles are native to the Gulf of Mexico. But this one took a slight detour, washing up on the shores of Rhosneigr, Wales, in 2023.
Now he’s made a 4,000-mile return trip to Texas, where he will spend the final part of his recovery before being released back into the Gulf.
