At least 160 killed in sweeping floods across Nepal and Tibet – Watch Wednesay’s ITV News at Ten
At least 160 people have been killed and hundreds are missing following flash floods in Nepal and Tibet.
Officials said 403 people are missing, including 341 foreign nationals from countries including the UK, the US, India and Malaysia, after a flash flood hit the Rasuwa region of Nepal on Wednesday.
The Nepal Tourism Board said 33 UK citizens, including a 13-year-old girl, and two Irish nationals are among those unaccounted for.
At least 28 police officials are also among the hundreds missing, Nepal police spokesperson Abi Narayan Kafle said.
