Prince Harry and others to pay Daily Mail publisher £9.5m – Watch Friday’s ITV Evening News

Prince Harry, Sir Elton John, Liz Hurley and four others ordered to pay millions over their failed phone hacking case.

The group have a hefty bill of up to £34 million to pay to the publisher of the Daily Mail — almost 10 million of it in the next seven days. The judge, in his ruling, called the conduct of the group “unreasonable”.

They may now have to pay part of the cash out of their own pockets, following a failed case Associated Newspapers Limited branded “outrageous”.
