He will be sworn in as an MP on Monday. <\/p>\n<p>Mr Burnham defeated Reform, Nigel Farage\u2019s party, in the by-election, seen as the biggest threat to Labour at the next election.  Burnham\u2019s supporters say that he now has the backing of more than 200 Labour MPs.
