Speaking from the border, Yusuf says the UK must urgently strengthen its immigration system, warning that without tougher border security, similar situations could become increasingly common.<\/p>\n<p>During the interview, Yusuf sets out what a Reform UK government would do to tackle illegal migration, insisting Britain is &#8220;more than capable of securing and defending our borders.&#8221; He also claims that individuals with serious criminal and terrorist backgrounds have entered the UK via illegal migration routes and argues that border security should be treated as a national priority.<\/p>\n<p>Yusuf also launches a sharp attack on Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham, accusing him of failing to prioritise the small boats crisis.
