US Should Send 2,000 Bradleys to Ukraine

Agree with this 100%. Gotta assume $61B is it.

Don’t send a ton of expensive fancy Switchblades. Send few ATACMs. Send few of our expensive Patriot systems and interceptors.

But send a TON of Bradleys, Paladins, and 155mm ammo.

  1. I am really curious to see what the breakdown of the aid is going to look like. Does anyone have a list yet?

I’m curious as to how they decide on what aid goes into these packages. I’m imagining generals and logistics officers get on a secure Zoom and hash it out.

  2. 1 Bradley is worth $2,000,000 according to the math done for the previous delivery. So that’s $4 billion total? Sounds good to me.

But if we value them at scrap metal prices… even better.

Ammo is great too, but it seems like we need to give them whatever they can’t get from anybody else, whatever that may be.

  3. We need to send a wide range of equipment a ton of Bradley’s would be stopped in tracks by a large mine field , drones have had a much larger effect on the battlefield then Bradley’s

  4. 61 billion is chump change. We should be willing to send a meaningful percent of our GNP for this effort to save the world from authoritarianism.

  5. How many years does Ukraine want to wait while they are repaired, refurbished, and updated? 1000’s Bradleys doesn’t mean 1000’s ready-to-go Bradleys. It probably doesn’t mean any.

  6. Hot Take: maybe the US military leadership and Ukrainian military leadership should agree on what lethal aid should be supplied.

  7. We’re deep enough into this now that both the US and Ukraine would have an excellent understanding of what is required, most effective, offers the maximum bang per buck etc, etc. I look forward to Russians in all the occupied territories feeling like they are on the front line…..

  8. They wont send a large quantity of bradleys since the introduction of the AMPVs with make the bradleys either get converted to AMPVs or replace m113, plus i doubt they could send enough spare parts and ammo to all of those bradleys.

Have you asked why we arent seeying leopards 1a5? becouse 90% of them dont have spare parts to be used nor ammunition, if people undestood 5% of western incompetence they would guiliotine biden and other incompetent corrupt fucks from western leadership. exemple: they couldnt supply ukraine with enought artillery ammo for 2 years, but they did with mortars, except some of the ammo were incompatible with the mortars they sent, and ukraine had to 1 by 1 refurbish hundreds of mortars to be able to use the ammo, ukraine doesnt shed light to this becouse is better to not ridicule the west than to be grateful of the little drops of aid [delayed, without ammor or spare parts, or even working (see; spanish hawk sistems that had to be withdrawn becouse they didnt work)]

  9. $23 billion is going directly to Ukraine. The rest is used for replenishing inventory and funding operation costs.

  10. If they were serious about Ukraine winning, they would. Along with hundreds of Abrams.

  11. There are somewhere in the neighborhood of 1200 expired ATACMs, would cost less to transfer them than decommission them. Send those

  12. Those Bradleys are considered as working or useful surplus, which can just be mothballed or straight to scrap recycling. Sending them to Ukraine will be the most useful thing that will happen to those Bradleys because for one, they will be used the way they are intended to do-demolish russian armored vehicles. Destroying tanks & T-90s are just the icing on the cake, and Bradley did prove that they are up to the task(to taxi the guys) and more.
