Straight pipe/ no cat EU control / High HP car costs

Hey!

Does straight pipe bother getting EU kontroll done? I own a car that is 1996. year make, and i had to remove cats(they're done), relative all environment is now suffering from my engine, and i have no other way to at least make it sound proper. Does it will be pain in the ass to do a EU kontroll? And does measure of CO matters on these old cars when passing EU kontroll?

Also I have wet dream about 450+ hp merc, finally can afford it, and there is some really good options in Norway at the moment, but people told me that there is crazy insurance price on cars that is 300hp+ (I've noticed that BMW 540 has more rarity in Norway, than M5 in any EU country, 520i mostly💀💀 ), since there is no actual calculator, where i can provisionally calculate price of expenses for specific car, maybe you can share your experience on that.

For example, what would be approx price for insurance for this car?

  1. I would strongly advise against manipulation of co2. Other than that your question is a bit weird. That a pipe is out of stock does not cause any problems in itself. I guess what you’re asking is “will a test without a new pipe cause issues?” Yes, if you have a defect exhaust pipe, this will most likely cause problems at a test
