>The Iraqi twins, who were previously found not guilty of Isis terrorist crimes, are in court again. This time, they want a total of 100,000 euros in compensation from the state for the house search, which they consider illegal. It was revealed in court that, according to the police, the two were preparing an attack against Finnish Security and Intelligence Service (Supo).
Wondering if there are details of their trial. How did Supo mess up so that Finland had to already pay these guys over 200’000 eur…

“*The brothers arrived in Finland as asylum seekers in 2015*.
*Since then, they ended up in pretrial detention due to extremely serious criminal suspicions. They were believed to be involved in the Camp Speicher massacre in Tikrit, Iraq in June 2014*.
*During the process, the men were imprisoned for almost a year and a half.*
*The district court of Pirkanmaa rejected the charges in May 2017 and the court of appeals of Turku in February 2020.*
*In the fall of 2020, the State Treasury paid both men a generous 213,000 euros, i.e. 400 euros per day, in so-called booth compensations for the suffering caused by the loss of liberty.*
*The men demanded that the compensation be doubled to more than 400,000 euros, but the Helsinki District Court rejected the brothers’ demands in September 2022*”.
Just depart them when proven guilty minus a kidney from each for compensation and trial cost. These are hard times.
