  1. This is a pretty interesting topic.

    Climate change is going to make a lot of places tougher or impossible to live. We often hear about the coastal cities affected, but this is the first time I’ve seen speculation of where people might go when they leave.

    The first wave is likely to be what this article says: Local(ish) migration. People aren’t going to pack up from the southeast coast and go straight to the midwest or something, they are going to go inland to somewhere not too far away.

    Interesting to see that Orlando is predicted to get an influx too. We all think people will eventually flee Florida, but they are likely to first go inland, rather than all packing up and totally moving away.
