10 years ago today, Steven Gerrard made that slip and it allowed Demba Ba to score for Chelsea. Few weeks before, after Liverpool won 3-2 over Man City, Gerrard screamed: “We do not let this fucking slip. We do not let this fucking slip. We go again!”
The slip itself is funny but made even more funny by the fact that he pulled the camera close to that huddle after our game and repeatedly yelled “this does not slip”. Wouldn’t have reached meme status without that huddle.
