I love it too, and so does the wildlife. Wish more places would do it.
Leave them in the ground ok
I love it too, I think a proper environmental action would be to supply people with loads of wild flower seeds, especially farmers. Throw them on ditches up and down the country.
Farmers are getting grants far less effective things where as this would have a very quick impact and looks amazing
There’s still a large amount of people that think green spaces should be manicured lawns with no life but a monoculture of grass and would see a healthy meadow of wild flowers as unkempt and full of weeds.
I saw a conspiracy theory recently blaming the reduction in insect populations on Wifi and 5G, ignoring completely the use of pesticides, herbicides, and habitat destruction.
And they were quite happy little wildflowers too, until you came along and ripped off their genitals…
Amazing. I love to see a bit of wild grown. There’s absolutely no need to cut every blade of grass everywhere.
In German parks they might cut a bit of grass but they’ll let other parts grow wild. Also they don’t cut down every tree. They use a bit of common sense.
Maybe don’t pick them and I’m not trolling . They’re in the ground for pollinators and no use in your hand
Work spending a hundred or two on potted plants for window boxes and flower beds this week.
Why they didn’t just go and get a hox of wild flower seed for €20 is beyond me 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
