Nintendo has broken its silence on the successor of the Nintendo switch well kind of fans have been eagerly awaiting news on this for months but so far there’s been nothing the switch hit stores in 2017 and became a huge hit during the pandemic with console exclusive Animal Crossing New Horizons 7 years on since its release president shintaro fukawa has given us an idea of when we can expect an announcement on the switchy successor but it could be any time before March 2025 I mean there’s even a chance we could get another GTA 6 trailer before then F car I said next month’s Nintendo Direct showcase would focus on the Nintendo switch software lineup for the latter half of 2024 he added Please be aware there will be no mention of the Nintendo switch successor during the presentation however he did say the switch 2 information would arrive within the next fiscal year
