It’s amazing how unbelievably fucking gullible the republicans were about this. There was so much evidence that Foxconn’s model was to rip off and destroy local economies.
But all of the conservatives in charge all happily went full bore. Really impressive.
Biden will definitely need another term to continue fixing Trump’s failed presidency. It’s not like Trump is doing much these days.

Unfortunately, data centers create very few jobs and suck up a ton of energy. The 2,000 permanent jobs figure is a lofty one. The article did not say if the jobs created would be “at” the data center. BUT, It’s still better than no jobs that trump brought to the site.

To be fair, Trump was going to get around to it right after better cheaper healthcare for all, clean coal jobs, Mexico paying for the wall, making Covid “magically disappear” and infrastructure week.

This is awesome! Foxconn was a HUGE con! I drove through Pleasant Prairie on my way to school and the money WI invested in infrastructure is jaw dropping…and it is silent there. I Passed Trumpet Park obviously named for the con man, acres sitting empty. This is a huge deal for that area.
