   Assuming it’s fact, I surmise that a manpads did the deed. Given enemy SU25s had been getting closer to the front lines (this was a pretty disconcerting development), they might’ve gotten their hands on more Stingers or found some old Soviet stocks of Iglas. Both have reputations of being menaces to SU-25s.
