  1. They look like real soldiers, but they also look like the doctrine reaction to the urgency of a common situation has not been trained into them to the point that they move without thinking. “Now what?”

  2. Wow. Their lack of urgency is mind-blowing. Prime target for the next drone.

  3. So, there’s a vehicle with ammo burning right next to them, and they’re just standing there watching, in a place where FPV drones are flying, and in a convoy that’s worth firing one or two rockets from a HIMARS at?

  4. Wow, this looks like a drone operators breakfast.

  5. Lads I know what’s a great idea… Let’s have a fucking UN meeting in the middle of the road.

  6. Looks like great opportunity for other targets right there. Hoping Ukraine could take advantage.

  7. Genuinely surprised to see them stand around watching the fireworks. Even the most fetal alcohol syndrome stricken Russian must realise there’s a good chance they’ll be hit shortly afterwards.

  8. Those are some well trained looking soldiers right there…

  9. Was expecting someone to follow up and strafe these nattering nay-bobs…

  10. Probably filmed during the initial invasion…aka 40-mile column, before drones were a thing. These guys are probably all dead now.

  11. Unsettling how chill and gagglefucked they are despite a drone just striking meters away from them?

To think some of their comrades are burning to death inside that thing and the dudes are just chilling and recording 💀

  12. The lack of urgency makes me wonder if it was a mine (not a quad). If so, it’s still stupid to just be breaking out the marshmallows, but at least you can make a reasonable statement about not being under attack.

edit: Or hell…. What if it was just a poorly maintained vehicle that caught fire?

  13. >let’s bunch up in the middle of the road and a foot away from the value targets. Paint a 🎯 on my back too.

  14. They don’t seem too concerned that they could be next.

  15. Historically this is when the clouds start raining tungsten balls. I think the stereotype of Russian goons just standing around waiting to get got in media might be 100% fact.

  16. I read that the Soviet Union purposely designed roads like this so it would be harder for the West to invade them.

  17. That guy standing on top of the truck has seen way too many movies.

  18. Dunno if standing on top of a vehicle is the best course of action when there’s FPV drones about. 😬🤣

  19. Nice tactical move , hit the lead vehicle in a narrow tree lined pass then hit the rear then finish off with a couple of HIMARS M30A1 Rockets in the middle ….

  20. And they’re just standing there. In a group. Like people in morning traffic being nosy.

    Wtf.

  21. I guess the lessons from Afghanistan have all been forgotten?

  22. non-autonomous UAV has limited fire concentration. That’s why these guys did not become a part of the highway to hell.

  23. they haven’t been briefed on current tactics. or this is not at the front lines and it’s just a random failure. otherwise they would gtfo.

  24. Guess who is going to be the next target. Do they really not understand, or are they just that ignorant?

  25. ” Woah, our lead vehicle was just destroyed by an enemy drone. We better stand here in a gaggle-fuck looking at it burn. Surely that was the only drone they had anyways. “

  26. Standing close to exploding munitions, standing bunched together when drones are active. Are these good ideas?

  27. Someone tell old Stonewall Jackson up there to get off the dang roof!

  28. 1. Run away
    2. Turn Around
    3. Stand and watch til you get hit too

Please choose one of the above.

(artillery fire / himars possible due to large amount of troops – if in range)

  29. Is it confirmed it was a drone and not a mine? If the latter is the case I can understand waiting until the ammo cooks off to go around it. I also haven’t seen video of a column this big in an active drone area in a while, so maybe it’s farther in the rear?

  30. The guy at the back pulling his rifle out of the back looks so tired of the bullshit. Like this isn’t the first time he has had to halt a convoy

  31. “It’s good thing that Ukrainians have just one drone to fly, da?”

  32. “Thank you for waiting… You are… 10th… In line. Your demise is very important to us. Please hold, and an FPV drone will be with you shortly.”

  33. You’d think they’d have learnt by now about grouping?

  34. I sure hope another drone doesn’t come around while they’re all grouped together in the open.

I *said*, “**I HOPE ANOTHER DRONE DOESN’T COME AROUND WHILE…”**

  35. I can understand watching this, but are they stupid ?

  36. >The ukrainians have spotted our column. Quick, let’s all assemble in the middle of the fucken road

    *- Vatniks*

  37. Hey fellas, the enemy clearly knows exactly where we are. I say we all stand around in the middle of the road for a while.

  38. I see this and I heard a radio call out in my mind: “Targets in the open. Fire for effect.” 🤷‍♂️

  39. I mean others already said it but I’m pretty amazed they are just standing there like no other drones could possibly be inbound…
