  1. Not me thinking you had scheduled “war” in your calendar .. really need to start reading the text in addition to looking at the visuals

  2. also putting this in the comments bc last time they tried to silence me for not having it 😤😤

  3. I gotta be honest, I’d probably cry a lot if I were going to the dentist four times a day too.

  4. Wow! Neat to see the comparison!! So glad you’re feeling better, it is clear to see. Nice job tracking everything despite the emotional turbulence.

I am giving meds another shot later this week and it gives me some hope haha.

  5. Friendly neighborhood reminder that ssris (class of psych meds that includes lexapro) typically take up to 6-8 weeks to build up in your system and take effect so for anyone looking to give them a shot, make sure you give them enough time to work! 🙂
Also the corollary here is that they should never be abruptly discontinued. Always speak with your prescriber to help taper down/off if your med isn’t working for you

  6. I was dating a girl that got on this medicine. She had no emotion in the relationship afterwards: I felt this was a gross overcorrection of life. I feel that she lost interest in me because I desire to feel emotion from her, and she didn’t want to communicate it. I would caution you in your relationships with this medicine going forward. You can send signals to your partner that you weren’t intending.

  7. Congratulations! Lexapro changed my life in such a positive way. It doesn’t suit me any more (I’m very different at 35 vs 25), but I don’t think I would have gotten through that part of my life without it.

  8. I’m dying to know what concert you went to on the 13th 🙂

  9. I wish antidepressants worked for me, still havent found the right one.

  10. I could never do this bc I need happy crying sessions. Or the kinds of crying from laughing too hard or crying as catharsis. Crying isn’t some giant sin. And it’s a very weird measurement to go off of. It’s only one facet. But I hope your life is looking up and improving the way you want it to, OP.

  11. Are you Gemma Scout? Why are you going to the dentist 17 times a month?
