Daughter send me this. Another student, considered as far-right/nazi in her university in Brussels. What are those stickers?

  1. On the contrary. “Eendracht maakt macht”, “Leve Belgie” and “Chinees Belang” are anti VB/antifa and pro belgium.

  2. VUB?

In mijnen tijd werd dat toch niet echt geapprecieerd.

  3. Rather looks like far left to me, hence the “France Insoumise” sticker. Even more likely if it’s from ULB/VUB.

Edit: commenters below are probably right saying the stickers are probably anti-LFI

  4. What? He’s got a France Unbound sticker which is a left political party. Also chinees belang is probably a meme regarding the backlash between VB/Chinese spies.

That doesn’t look nazi to me at all.

  5. All those stickers indicate Belgian nationalism, which is contrary to what the Flemish far right stands for.

  6. Interesting. Old fashioned rightist Belgian catholic nationalism, as if a pro Lépoldiste from 1950 had had a computer.

  7. Being extremely patriotic and nationalistic is just weird, ‘murica vibes

  8. Seems like a politically confused person. Lots of Belgian patriotic stickers, but also KVHV Leuven, wich is very Flemish nationalist and anti-Belgian.

  9. Looks like a right-wing catholic Belgian nationalist (given the Chinees Belang, mocking VB for being pro-Chinese). Odd to include the KVHV sticker though, given that it’s Flemish-nationalist (leaning). The LFI-sticker is also odd, given that it’s left-wing populist.

The catholic/royalist Belgian stuff gives off a strong Rexist vibe.

  10. Too much tricolor to be extreme rightside

We’re dealing with a Belgian Nationalist

  11. yeah it’s far right. KVHV for example is a student club that is really far right and very nationalistic. Also the lion is a symbol of Flanders so the student is probably from that region. The one on the bottom right is a german empire flag i guess????

  12. Looks like a left wing ultra nationalist.
    Shiny Pokemon.

  13. LFI symbol -> Left wing party in France (although it may be anti LFI? Hard to tell since it’s very degraded) EDIT: yeah it looks anti LFI
    Chinees Belang -> Anti VB

    etc…

Not far right, maybe Belgian nationalist though? Hard to tell but nothing here immediately indicates far right
EDIT: may be christian-belgian nationalist. I wasnt aware of KHVH

  14. Jullie nazi woord is al zo uitgeperst dat geen betekenis meer heeft

  15. Left top corner sticker: la france isloumise/islamise ? > play-word with La France Insoumise, the french left party, and the word Islam but with visibly a terrorist holding a gun saying “Voute Mélenchon” (La France Insoumise’s party leader) instead of “vote mélenchon” which is correct french which imply they talking with an arab accent.

looks very racist to me, tell your daughter to pour water on his laptop for me please

  16. so… how old is that laptop though… man those stickers really have a rough time.

  17. First of all most of those are anti-rightwing.
2nd of all how can you be so butthurt to put a picture like this online and say ‘your daughter send this’
ITs just a guy with stickers on his laptop, even if it was right/left whats the point? Its just a sticker or is society that snowflake lately.

KVHV is conservative catholic. Being conservative or catholic can be either left or right.

  18. La France Insoumise (top left sticker) is a French far-left party. One of their representative at the French Chamber is in hot water right now because his parliamentary assistant participated in the killing of a neo-nazi in Lyon.

Seems a bit trollish though to have that many stickers that feels far-right at a glance, even when they are technically absolutely not.

  19. This seems to be a computer of a Belgian royalist, who is also a member of the Flemish student movement KVHV. Not all Flemish nationalists are against Belgium. Some even belief in a single Belgian state system (https://www.unionbelge.be/)

  20. I never knew there were so many Belgian patriotic stickers to begin with.

Only the kvhv is quite flemish conservative student group, delivers or delivered some ministers in the governments, some have links with “Vlaams belang” even schild en vrienden… but the radical part basically gets nullified with “Chinees Belang” which makes fun of Vlaams Belang.

Overall, no, not a nazi. Sometimes a troll maybe?

  21. Eerlijk gezegd, ik zie dit drietalig stikkerwerk wel graag. Heel zeldzaam dat alle drie de landstalen worden geincludeerd. Lijkt me niet bepaald extreem rechts, die houden vaak niet zo van de andere talen

  22. Only a lion with black claws is part of the far-right nonsense. I think you’d better give your daughter a few lessons… and wow, she’s at university and has no idea about this… sad…

  23. Far right nationalist in Belgium is a joke for such a non country

  24. He sure seems patriotic but mocks the VB and has a sticker from the party “l’Unie” which is a young party that push for a come back to the unitary state in Belgium and that that I don’t think is particularly right-wing but I don’t know much about it beyond the unitary part.

What’s sure is that he isn’t a regionalist and seems to like as a whole and Belgium’s three languages and like the monarchy and the Catholicism.

There is a sticker mocking (I’m guessing since it’s not easy to read) the French far-left party “La France Insoumise” so there is that too.

  25. That’s not at all right wing/nazi lmfao, it is quite the opposite.

  26. Most stickers are pro-Belgium or even royalist, quite the opposite. The fact that they have to ask their parents goes to show that many students nowadays are thick as a brick and just jump on the nearest bandwagon. Tell your daughter to pay attention to the course instead, she might actually learn something.

  27. It’s a mix of radically different ideologies. KVHV is a right-wing (and sometimes even far-right) Flemish nationalist student union; many other stickers indicate right-wing Belgian nationalism (as opposed to Flemish nationalism); there’s monarchism as wel; then there’s “Chinees Belang”, which is a satirical version of the Vlaams Belang logo; and to top it all off there’s a sticker for the French far-left party LFI (although that might be satirical as well, seeing it depicts a bloodied soldier).
