Hi all! Canadian living in Finland here, who is in desperate need of some blackout curtains! 😅 Can anyone help me understand how I can attach curtains to this mechanism?
It’s a sliding track with these little things attached to it — they have a small loop on the bottom that I’m assuming I can somehow attach a curtain to. But I can’t find a definitive answer online.
Are these common, and if so, could someone please explain to me how it works? Kiitos! 🙏

Yes, they are very common. You need these to attach the curtain with:

Edit: or anything from here (just to add a more common store):

Check the rail form, and buy fitting clips. Slide them in and attach the curtain to clips.

Look up RIKTIG from ikea.
They are really common. You need something like this

The “verhonipistin” is the operative word, you put the hook on the pincher in the loop and put the pincer to bite the curtain.
If you have curtains that have a hole/loop in them then there are verhorengas that has the hook to attatch to those holders.
These are pretty common. You need some “verhonipistin” or “verhonipsu”. You can get them from Prisma, Clas Ohlson, Saiturinpörssi or some other store that sells household items.

Buy these and clip in the curtains, easy.
Hope this helps.
