I shouldn’t laugh because there’s some serious issues here
1. She lost all her teeth to gum disease in her 30s
2. She bought teeth off Facebook for 15 quid and thought that was a good idea.
3. Her first thought when it goes tits up is to go to the papers
Dentists (and dental technicians) are regulated heavily for a good reason. It shouldn’t be legal for Facebook to host ads for things like this.

My mother sends me AI junk ads which are obviously (to me anyway) scams, but when I explain to her how to spot one of the scams, or tell if something was made with AI, she’s sending me another one the following week saying, “This looks good.” It’s maddening. I’ve saved her so much money but I’m honestly worried for people who can’t for the life of them fucking *see* red flags in front of their face.
