She’s got much bigger offers on the table now. Amelia is going to be a big star (if not already).
Frankly lost its charm as it grew. Went from feeling like a novel, rudimentary show to a ‘production’ with guests who understood the premise a little too well.
The Eric Andre Show had the same problem. Hard to keep that feeling when it becomes a big deal.
Is it more because Ania Magliano has become quite famous in her own right and is too busy to write for Chicken Shop any more?
Smart decision, show was successful but had run it’s course. Time to try some other projects and see what gold she can strike. Her F1 interviews were a good laugh, and I am sure there will be new projects that succeed.
Used to be a good way for underground artists to get noticed. Then she got too big & it became just a PR piece for the latest album, film or TV show. The whole premise is pretty boring now too.
Apparently she’s writing a Gen Z version of Skins. Will be interesting to see how she pulls that off.
Never heard of this show until today stuff like this reminds me that there are tons of stuff on YouTube that I haven’t got a clue about but then again I watched Travel and Technology reviews and gaming podcast so stuff like this isn’t going to pop up
She just said at the end of July she wants to keep it going.
Must’ve got a big offer to do something
Always felt unfulfilling and left me wanting more. Honestly surprised it got as big as it did.
Her new gig “Passenger Princess” is really not great. It’s super repetitive and boring.
I’ve only just started watching it 😢 found out about it when I saw the passenger princess stuff she does with F1 drivers.
Weird how this was going for years but I only heard of it a couple of months ago when I saw a clip with Paul McCartney. Must be because I’m middle aged. The algorithm really does keep people in silos.
The culture vulture has moved on to her next venture
The genre of “casual interviews whilst eating” trend is nearing it’s peak I feel, can’t fault her timing for dipping out the market.
It’s such a played out gimmick now
Tbh what were the likes of Addison Rae, Jonathan Bailey and Ryan Reynolds doing in a chicken and chip shop?
