Its interesting to see how climate change denial has shifted. Now it seems to be that they accept that its real and it is man made but we should all just suck it up.
These are the people who might suggest solar panels attract lightning and that wind farms create tornadoes if it keeps them fiscally viable.

Its galling that people actually watch idiots like this and just nod their heads in agreement….
I notice they don’t complain when people are warned about extreme cold.
I genuinely feel sorry for the sad people who watch those channels.
I’ve always wondered how the weathermen/women on these channels deal with the fact their colleagues are lunatics. Just don’t care? Cognitive dissonance? Because if they do care, it must be a bit annoying for them to basically say your forecasts/analyses are bullshit.
They’ve jumped straight from Stage One to Stage Three…

My biggest irritation is “we acknowledge climate change, we acknowledge it’s man made, we acknowledge it’s fixable BUT CHINA and INDIA”.
My analogy. Your neighbours all shit on their door steps and throw their rubbish on the street.

A, pay to have bins and a toilet installed

B. Wallow in your filth because they do.
A costs you money but improves the environment just a little and is morally correct and demonstrates the right way. B is stupid
I am disappointed that the Guardian chose to use a word, hysteria, with such misogynistic roots.
Anyway, yes, climate change deniers behaved like fanatics.
But so did the econazis who kept saying that air conditioning is some kind of moral failure, or kept denying it is necessary. Eg a French minister said she was horrified at people’s requests to install aircon. In Nantes, the €38m refurbishment of the train station was meant to show the world that aircon wasn’t needed, but it became an expensive fiasco: the station closes all the time because it overheats and becomes dangerous. Are these people not fanatics, too? Do these people not deny the evidence, too?

What about the crazy craziness or the stupid stupidity? Must be great being as dumb as a GB News presenter. I bet food tastes better.
