These companies prove so badly how we need to just have a “taking the piss” law where if a company is obviously trying to skirt a loophole and a jury of say, ~20 random people agree that they are, the company can be fined/prosecuted including any individuals that devised the attempt with no upper penalty and if its aimed to attack children, then minimums are set as multiple years in prison and huge fines on their income (not some piddly “worth it” fine).

What anybody needs to know about nicotine products is on the packet. They make no benefit claim. All nicotine does is get you hooked on nicotine so now you enjoy what you did before only if you had nicotine recently. That’s why it should be banned because it’s just such a pointless drug, pure exploitation.
I use these, I would welcome them being mandated to display the nicotine content on the front of the pack

There is no NHS dentistry, these pouches destroy teeth and gums
Education should be a priority. Retailers that give these away to kids should be punished.
But my god, people are missing the point. Tobacco and vape tax isn’t there to stop people from using tobacco and vapes, that’s a byproduct of the taxes. It is there for the government to make money. The government isn’t in big tobacco’s pocket. Big tobacco is nowhere near as powerful as it once was in the UK. I’ve seen articles of thousands of layoffs at BAT and Imperial.
Just like fuel, they tax it to fuck because people can’t go without it.
Governments are there to make money for themselves.
Just bring cigarettes back, seeing all these kids inhale watermelon flavoured juices or nicotine patches is just equally as bad if not worse because they can vape or put a pouch in indoors, on trains, planes, etc. Darts at least make it more inconvenient, smelly, and you socialize by going to the smoking section.
The last man was on the moon in 1972 and smoking indoors was banned soon after.
