  1. A pair of off-duty Met Police officers have been arrested after allegedly attending a boozy sex party during a holiday in Budapest.

At least two officers were reported by a female colleague who was pulled by the arm into a room during a rave, which involved some 15 colleagues.

The same woman alleged she was later grabbed by another colleague on the night in the Hungarian capital.

One male officer was arrested on Monday on suspicion of assault and another was brought in on Tuesday.

When the party happened was not specified but it was described by The Sun, which first reported the allegations, as a ‘summer break’.

There was no indication that any sexual activity occurred at the party, held at a property rented by the officers through Airbnb.

The ‘wild’ bash involved officers of several ranks, including sergeants and police constables, with several already in sexual relationships.

A source told The Sun that police bosses were ‘deeply embarrassed’ by the ‘wild scenes’ described by reports of the event.

‘It beggars belief that this could happen,’ they said.

Police bosses even convened a ‘gold group’, when specialists are brought in to help the force respond to an incident or investigation.

Both officers have since been bailed and suspended from duty, the Met Police confirmed.

The force said in a statement: ‘Two serving officers have been arrested following an investigation by the Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards.

‘One officer, attached to Central North Command, was arrested on Monday, 31 August on suspicion of assault. A second officer, attached to the same command, was arrested on Thursday, 3 September on suspicion of sexual assault.

‘The incidents are reported to have taken place in Budapest in June 2026. Both officers were bailed and have been suspended from duty, and enquiries continue into what is a complex investigation.

‘All allegations of criminality or misconduct by officers are treated with the utmost seriousness.’

  2. Is this democracy? I just want to enjoy a succulent Hungarian orgy!

  3. You could have edited the captions etc out of the copy!

  4. Erm, seems they’ve been arrested for an ‘offence’ occurring in another country. British police don’t have any jurisdiction baoht what happens in another country. Unless Hungarian police issued an international arrest warrant (which they can’t for a summary only offence of common assault), these arrests are surely unlawful?

And, so what if a load of officers went on holiday and had a wild party? Seems any activities (apart from the arm pulling and the grabbing) were consensual.

  5. What a confusing, contradictory article. it stated the following about the event –

    1. It was an orgy

    2. It was a boozy sex party

    3. It was a rave

    4. It was a wild bash

    5. There was no indication that any sexual activity occurred at the party

So what was it Ryan Prosser; Freelance Journalist?

  6. Am I going mad or does the article completely contradict the headline?

The headline calls it an ‘orgy’, but then the article calls it a ‘wild rave’ and then goes on to say that there was no evidence that any sexual activity took place at the event. So which is it? Orgy or just a rave?

  7. who the fuck goes on holiday with colleagues? are they mental?

  8. What a fucking dogshit article, they should be embarrassed to post such a contradictory mess

  9. That’s utter madness, the craziest thing I’ve heard in ages… Who the fuck goes on a summer break with their work colleagues?

I work with those cunts every other day of the fucking year, I sure as shit ain’t going anywhere with them unless I’m being paid. My holidays don’t involve anything with work!

  10. Standard case of fine with it at the time. Woke up and felt embarrassed etc and decided to say now she is sober she didn’t consent
