  1. They had a massive cyber attack loss ~~this year~~ late last year and the J in JLR hasn’t had a single product on the market since last year so…yeah, not overly shocking

  2. Maybe if they started selling jaguars again, they’d make more money

  3. Were the people in charge of the Type 00 concept all fired already?

  4. Chinese cars are taking over Europe, this will likely be the beginning of the end for what little manufacturing we still have

  5. It’s never the bosses who make terrible concepts about jaguar being an electric car company with no product and adverts that don’t contain any cars.

  6. Does the fact that they are a luxury car brand have anything to do with it? I mean, I know there are still many wealthy people in the UK, but is the economy strong enough for a car brand at the higher end of the market to survive indefinitely. Especially when they seem to have no idea who their target market is. Just wondering.

  7. The US tariff’s (on top of Russia being a closed market, well ‘officially’ speaking) are mentioned in the report but might go under discussed here.

  8. I thought the Land Rover part of the business was doing well?

    I don’t think we’ll see Jaguar back.

  9. I thought JLR was an Indian (subsidiary) company, so it’s a battle of Chinese vs Indian car manufacturers.

*”Jaguar Land Rover has been a subsidiary of India-based Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (formerly Tata Motors) since they founded it as a holding company for the acquisition of Jaguar Cars and Land Rover from Ford in 2008″*
