It’s absolutely correct for the government to control what media people see. Traditional controlled media should be the only accepted media.
So, the contemptible clown of the circus industry thinks that something we are doing is wrong? It takes a special sort of stupid to think giving online visibility to the media is censorship…
I am against the traditional media getting pushed. It seems the argument for it rather than against is it will stop right wing propaganda by having it replaced with traditional media. However you can get that without having to push traditional media. Just make it law political content has to have a label, and then also have a law making it mandatory users can toggle it on/off. You can do with with NSFW, AutoPlay, Shorts, Custom Ads, Aggressive Algorithm etc. That would be a much better solution, allow user reports for when content is mislabelled also so it can be quickly taken down with reports and the platforms fined heavily if they don’t act fast.
