  1. So crèche and other increased fees like energy will suck it up isn’t it?

  2. It will make all the difference for the early risers…eejits!

  3. >Chambers said he wants to “help workers who get up early, but also who get up and work nights too”.

I could not have expressed this more succinctly myself, despite being somewhat taciturn and in the habit of using minimal vocabulary to communicate my point.

  4. Marginal tax increase coming in October, PRSI increase.

Marginal tax decrease coming in the budget.

Fantastic. They need to index these increases to inflation, we’re way behind. As well as introduce more tax bands for income tax, rather than a binary higher or lower. Needs way more granularity. Nobody should be paying 52.35% tax on every red cent over 70k.

  5. For these cunts a few hundred euro is nothing. For most of us, even a few extra hundred makes a difference

  6. Disgraceful, state is just a legal money laundering at this stage. Great if you are connected to the state, terrible otherwise.

  7. Then why bother. The billionaire companies don’t need it.

No fuckin cuts for us tho.

  8. r/ireland when government cuts income tax: “Just another giveaway budget”

r/ireland when government doesn’t cut income tax enough: “FFG hate working people”

  9. Remember inflation is running at 3.6% and a lot more for most people. Unless the increase to tax bands and credits is more than that then we’re once again being sold a tax increase as “giving back” to the hard working people

  10. thats in line what been announced already , like a few changes in the threshold which is like 800 euro less depedning on wage

  11. The higher band needs to be raised but also something for those of us who might get a bonus or some occasional overtime.
