To follow u/Bumblebees_are_c00l’s lead, here are the 3 hedgehogs that were born a month and a half ago. Back in spring, a mother hedgehog decided my barbecue cover was the safest place to nest, and got extremely chonky by July. Then one morning, I discovered three thriving little hoglets!
FYI, hedgehogs are an endangered species in Luxembourg, and may disappear within the next 10 years. If you have a garden and ever spot them, please turn off your robot lawnmowers, do not disturb piles of leaves without checking them first (their nests), and leave a small bowl of water out for them (thirst is the leading non-human cause of death for hedgehogs, and this summer was particularly brutal).
