A national boxing gym franchise appears to be planning a new location on Columbia Pike.

Title Boxing Club is laying the groundwork for a possible location at Centro Arlington, in the retail bay where Orangetheory Fitness closed last year. The business applied for a commercial builders’ permit there last month.

A gym is ‘up and coming’

  • Title Boxing Club’s full-body fitness program incorporates a “52-week boxing progression” and interval training.
  • A Title representative confirmed a new club is “up and coming” at the address but declined to comment as the group is negotiating its lease.
  • In plans published by Kimco Realty, the retail bay is currently listed as “available for lease” along with Harris Teeter’s former 51,000-square-foot space at the same address.

It offers monthly memberships

  • Memberships start at $104 per month for four classes, and single classes can be purchased at $35. The franchise also offers packs of 20 for $600 and 10 for $325.
  • Title currently has nearby locations in Falls Church, Fairfax and Ashburn, as well as Kensington, Md., and Rockville, Md.
